Highlights of the Week

We’ve had another fantastic week at school! Our students have been making a splash in swimming lessons, building confidence and skills in the water. The Mini Dunkers program has also been a hit, with our young athletes developing their basketball fundamentals while having lots of fun. They are gearing up for the mini dunkers tournament in April.

This week, during Friday's SEL block the students worked together to find all the letters to DONALDA EAGLES. Their hard work paid off as they each earned their very own Donalda Eagles Sticker—hot off the press! Thank you to Char Shepherd for order the stickers for us!

Winter made a return with colder temperatures and a fresh layer of snow, which brought lots of excitement for outdoor play. As always, we encourage students to dress warmly for the season so they can enjoy their time outside comfortably.

Report cards went home this week, and we encourage families to take the time to review and celebrate their child’s progress. We look forward to connecting with you during parent-teacher interviews next Thursday, where we can discuss achievements and goals moving forward. Please reach out if you need to book a time slot.

Alberta Assurance Survey

Donalda School would love to hear from you! Parents of grade 4-9 students, you should have received an email from Clearview Public Schools requesting that you complete a survey regarding your child's education. The survey provides important feedback to our staff as we make plans for the upcoming school years, as well as for the division. The suvery closes March 21st.

Parent Teacher Interviews

We will be having our Parent Teacher Interviews on Thursday, March 20th. To book a time to meet with your child's teacher, please contact the office (403-883-2280 or email rnormand@clearview.ab.ca). Parent teachers interviews is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with the school to support your child's learning!

Farewell to Miss. Godin

Friday was the last day for Miss. Godin (AKA Miss. G) at Donalda School. Miss G joined the team last winter as an educational assistant in the grade 3/4 room. She continued with that role this year, and did a fanstic job! We wish Miss G all the best!
