Dear St. Luke Families,

We had another fantastic week here at St. Luke learning and making connections. We welcomed into our school local Peace and RCMP officers who challenged our Girls Basketball team to a game of basketball. This certainly was one of the highlights of the week as the whole school came to cheer on the girls. It was a lot of fun and a great display of basketball skills. We would like to thank all who came out to enjoy the game.

Our open house was a great success as we met and welcomed new families into our St. Luke school. Our SWAT Team (Student Wellness Action Team) was at the doors greeting all those who entered. Congratulations to our scavenger hunt winners John, David, Brooklyn and Dre for winning a prize bag and $50.00 off school fees for next year. We are still accepting registration for next year. We hope to see a few more students join our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten program. If you did not have a chance to come to the open house and you would like a tour of the school please contact the office and we will do our best to accommodate.

We hope to see many families join us at the school to celebrate student learning. The link to sign up for parent, student, teacher conferences below. We hope to see many of you at the school next week.

In partnership with Save on Foods (Wye Road) and the Strathcona Food Bank, our School Council will be hosting a food drive from April 3 to 6, 2023 to help support those in need within our communities.

We are fortunate to participate in the Save on Foods Rebate Program each year, which provides a rebate on applicable products from your weekly shopping trips, and are incredibly blessed to be asked to help Save on Foods give back to the greater community.

This food drive will run for a short period as it is bookended by Spring Break as well as Good Friday and Easter. Reminders will be sent out throughout the next couple of weeks in preparation for our kiddos return to school on April 3.

And don't forget to keep saving those bottles! We will be hosting a Family Games Night at St. Luke on April 28 and are happy to collect your bottles. Funds from the bottles donated will be used to continue supporting student enrichment within our school.
