Policy Reminders
Toys From Home
All toys and personal items from home must stay home. This can cause a distraction, lost, or damaged. Unless approved by the administration team, please encourage your kids to keep their toys in the car before heading into school.
Labeling Items
Please ensure all items that belong to your child are labeled with their names! This includes all water bottles, extra clothes, jackets, backpacks, nap sheets, etc. We ask that you maintain this to the best of your ability throughout the school year!
Sick Policy
With all of the sicknesses we have had this past season, please ensure your children are fever-free when dropping them off. If you do get a diagnosis of a sickness, please let us know! A lot of these bugs are contagious and knowing what's going around helps us look for symptoms and stop the spread! Please encourage your kiddos to wash hands often!
Cubby Refresh
Space is limited in each cubby.
1. 2 shirts, 2 pants, 2 underwears, 2 pairs socks, 1 pair shoes
2. compact sleeping bag or 1 cot sheet, 1 blanket, stuffie (optional)
3. reusable water cup LABELED first and last name; brought home daily to be cleaned.
9:30 Drop Off
Please remember all children are encouraged to be in-house by 9:30. If you cannot make it at this time, please send a message via Tadpoles so we can ensure we have accurate number counts for staffing and lunch purposes!
Administering Medication
All medication must have a log filled out so we can offer it. Reminder: Medication must be in its original bottle with your child's first and last name prescribed by a health care provider. We can only administer 2 doses a day!
Important Paperwork
Your child's file has to be up-to-date when enrolled
The following must be submitted to an admin or emailed to our assistant principal, Nafeesa Wilson, by October 1st. All returning and new families enrolled should be completed unless an admin has reached out following your enrollment meeting. Emails regarding health assessments will be sent out monthly as reminders to ensure this part of your child's file is in compliance.
1. Emergency Contact
2. Fee Agreement
3. Fee Schedule
4. Health Assessment
Authorizing a pickup
This form is to be completed if another adult, besides who is authorized, is picking-up or dropping off your child/ren at school. Remind the person picking up to have their driver's license present, otherwise we cannot legally release any child in our care. Please inform your child's teacher when this change in schedule is happening either verbally or through the tadpole app.
Billing
CBA Ellis Preserve location's hour of operation are 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Legally our facility cannot accept any child for drop off before 7:00 AM. Any time after 5:30 PM will begin to collect late fees; $1.00 for every minute. If you know you will be running behind due to traffic, a situation outside of your control, etc. please call the school ASAP to inform our admin team (484.428.3029 ext 2). This will allow us to schedule closing teachers appropriately.
Take a look at ALMA. Is your automatic payment turned on for the weekly tuition? Late fees of $25.00 will be billed on Tuesdays if not paid through your ALMA account or by check.
