First Anual Back to School Picnic
5k
Last week the 4K and Kindergarten class were learning about apples. We learned how they grow, when they grow, and where they grow. We learned that there are many different types of apples and that they come in different colors. We were able to sample different varieties to see if we liked sweet apples or tart apples and then we graphed it. Sweeter apples definitely won in our class.
On Friday we made applesauce by cutting (Mrs. Hoffman cut), apples and adding sugar and cinnamon. We let it cook all day in our classroom and we all enjoyed the wonderful smell. For a snack, we all got to eat our delicious applesauce which we loved!

First and Second Grade
Our first and second graders are off to an amazing start, with 11 first graders and 5 second graders eagerly diving into learning our classroom expectations, procedures, and routines. In both math and reading, students are not only mastering the content but also having a blast playing educational games that teach teamwork and sportsmanship. We've dedicated time to practicing how to be gracious winners and how to handle losing with kindness and respect. Check out this great moment with Mrs. Graceffa as she works with the class on behavior and social-emotional growth! The students are always thrilled when she visits, and her wisdom and guidance will surely make a huge impact!

Girl Scouts
Denise Wagner, joined us at our family picnic, sparking excitement among our students and parents alike. During the event, they not only enrolled a remarkable 92% of our elementary girls but also created meaningful connections with families. Our first troop meeting was a success, and we’re excited to announce that Denise and her daughter Alana will meet monthly to continue building skills, friendships, and confidence!
