Greeting SELC PK Families,
Gingerbread Jamboree 2023 was magical! We had an incredible turn out. It was WONDERFUL to see so many of you yesterday! Thank you for coming and engaging with your child as well as your child's classroom community.
As we close out 2023, I want to thank all of you, our Eaglets, and the staff at SELC for AN AMAZING first part of school year 23-24. I continue to be humbled to be part of such a respectful and kind school community. I wish you all health and happiness this holiday season, a restful winter break, and a new year full of peace and possibilities!
A FEW REMINDERS:
- No school for Winter break December 25th-January 1st
- School resumes on January 2nd
- No school on January 15th
- Early Release on January 24th
Early Release times by program:Head Start full day: dismissal at 12:30
Head Start part day: dismissal at 11:30
Integrated Pre-K: AM classes only, no PM classes
PK STEAM Academy: dismissal at 12:30
An URGENT REMINDER
- FLU SHOTS ARE DUE TO NURSE JEN BY today! Because we are not in school for Winter break, please get your vaccine documentation to NURSE JEN ASAP! You can bring it to SELC on January 2nd, you can email it to jmaier@enfieldschools.org, fax it to 860-253-0096, or email to your child's teacher. Your child will NOT be permitted to return on January 2nd if this has not been received, per the Connecticut immunization requirements for PK. In the event you cannot get the flu shot prior to this date, a doctor's note with the scheduled appointment date will work.
