**SENIOR CELEBRATION IN THE CRC**
Seniors, we are so proud of your progress towards your post-LHS plans! We loved hosting a Senior Celebration on 11/1 to celebrate your hard work through the fall application season.
Thank you to Parent CAT donors & volunteers who helped make the event extra special for all!
Continue to stop in the CRC with any questions you have about tasks, next steps, a confusing email or to continue working on your applications.
CLASS OF 2025 - NOVEMBER NEWS
A few reminders:
- Some colleges require a Mid-Year Report (transcript update). These are not generated until late January (after first semester ends). If your college(s) require this, your counselor will send the report through the Common App portal or you will request an updated transcript send through Parchment.
- Even though the FAFSA is not open yet, you and your parent can (and should) create your FSA ID in preparation for the December rollout. Ms. Murphy and LHS's ISAC partner, Carlos Morales, talk through this process in this video.
- Stay engaged with your application process; attention to emails, information requests and more remains an important task for you to stay informed about each application's status.
- Schedule a meeting with Ms. Murphy! While we may be through the fall frenzy of applications, I am still here to answer questions, talk through options and review any supplemental writing. Reach out with your questions or schedule a meeting to chat through all of the things!

CLASS OF 2026 - NEWS & TO-DO'S
- Plan to attend the Class of 2026 College Planning Night on 11/18 @ 7:00 in the LHS Auditorium.
- Consider your academic progress and keep doing your best in the classroom! Junior year grades matter; review these tips to support your academic goals.

- Ms. Murphy will be visiting US History classes the week of 11/11. We'll review academic progress, post-high school planning steps and complete a SchooLinks activity to help you make informed decisions about your post-LHS plans.

- Take a practice ACT and SAT. D128 has partnered with Compass Prep to offer sophomores and juniors a practice ACT and/or SAT in December. All testing is online and will be completed at home. Register for your practice spot today!
- Stay/get involved in a club or activity
- Read for fun (read anything! Just read!)
- Consider your wellness; eat well, sleep well, be well.
