Principal's Message
Greeting families,
Thanks for supporting our campus by joining this past week's meeting. Your valuable input is instrumental during our new families' onboarding process. I still need to add the new families to our mailing list because I am waiting for the registration process to be over and not to confuse them or you with information that may not pertain to either of the groups. I included you in the newsletter with the meeting information so that you know it was sent out and to allow you to provide feedback as needed.
We will have our end-of-the-year award ceremony the last week of May. Please see the "upcoming events" section of the newsletter for your child's grade-level ceremony. We will hold a grade level ceremony by day, so we take our time celebrating this important milestone. I am glad to announce that the ceremonies will be hosted at the UTSW South Campus building, thanks to our fantastic SBDM team.
Now that we have secured the location, we will work on the logistics and release them as soon as they are finalized. We hope everyone can join us to commemorate this important milestone.
Please see the Counseling Newsletter for details on our first-ever Career Day, coming up on May 19thfrom 8:30-11:30am. If you are interested in volunteering, fill out this form as soon as possible! We still need two more participants and they do not need to be working on the Biomedical field.
Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming events.
Sincerely,
Dr. Gonzalez

Mental Health Month
THEME: "MORE THAN ENOUGH"
Mental Health Awareness Month was first celebrated in 1949 to highlight the importance of maintaining overall health and wellbeing.
This year our theme in Dallas ISD is, "MORE THAN ENOUGH", which speaks to the importance of each unique individual accepting who they are despite their challenges in life.
We invite you to join us in fighting the stigma around mental health by posting ways you celebrate your mental health to social media. Don't forget to use the hashtags #dallasisd #morethanenough.
We encourage every member of our Dallas ISD family to look within and embrace all of who you are...Remember, YOU ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH!
