Golf Rocks At District Compeition
7 on 7 Starts Well
On Tuesday, the Viking 7v7 football squad traveled to Glenn HS to start their month long spring 7v7 league. Schools competing in this league consist of: LV, Jarrell, Glenn, and Florence. The league consists of a varsity, junior varsity, and freshman division. Your Viking 8th graders are competing against current 9th graders and competing at a high level. This week, due to baseball games, the Vikings traveled to Glenn with a total of 7 players and won both games (Glenn and Florence). The team consisted of: Brennan Brown, Macer Ballard, Max Gamez, Rhys Koncack, Keegan Harris, Jayden Vargas, and Cole Schroeder. It was quite impressive to see these kids play together and see them having fun. Next week we will have more kids participating as they compete in the 2nd week of league play. Games are at 6:00 and 7:00 at Glenn HS.

Vaping = DAEP
HB 114 makes offenses involving the possession and/or or use of vapes a mandatory DAEP offense. School districts will now be required to place all students who are caught in possession and/or or using vapes (of any kind – not just those with drugs) into their DAEP.
Please share this with your children - it's just not worth it!
