ART NEWS
MERHS Students Juried into Rockport Art Association Summer Shows
While most of us were enjoying summer, three MERHS students’ artwork was selected by the Rockport Art Association and Museum to be included in their summer art shows. Work from the following MERHS students was featured:
● Miles Takayesu(Sophomore)
● Augie Copotosto(Junior)
● Henry Swerdloff(Senior)
The Young Artist Award (YAA) at the Rockport Art Association and Museum (RAA&M) is an opportunity for Cape Ann high school art students to be celebrated for their vision and dedication. Students' work is juried by artist members of RAA&M and are awarded cash prizes and recognition. Their work is showcased in four Summer Art Shows along with professional artists. A wide range of media and subject matter were selected as the finalists. It is a wonderful experience for both student artists and professional artists alike.

SENIORS - YEARBOOK NEWS
Dear Seniors and Families,
We hope you are gearing up for your senior year! As seniors, it is important to the yearbook staff that each of you is represented throughout your yearbook. We have set up a MERHS yearbook website where you will find all things related to the yearbook. Please pay careful attention to photo and order deadlines. We are unable to extend certain deadlines that are set by the publisher.

Current & Kid Photos: Preferably group photos from younger years or from high school.
These photos need to be uploaded and submitted by senior students no later than Sunday, October 20th.
