Dear Lambs Families,
As we approach the holiday season, our school is filled with a special sense of warmth, joy, and togetherness. This time of year provides us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the relationships we build with our students, families, and staff. Our school thrives because of the strong connections we share, and I am truly grateful for the support, kindness, and dedication that each of you brings to our community.
The holidays are a time to celebrate not only with family and loved ones but also to reflect on the importance of giving and caring for others. In that spirit, our work here at school focuses on ensuring that every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. One of the key ways we achieve this is through our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
MTSS is a proactive and inclusive approach to helping all students succeed academically, behaviorally, and emotionally. It ensures that every child’s unique needs are identified and met with the right support at the right time. Through this system, we use data to monitor student progress and provide targeted interventions when needed. MTSS includes multiple tiers of support:
- Tier 1: High-quality instruction and support for all students.
- Tier 2: Small-group interventions for students who may need additional help.
- Tier 3: Individualized, intensive support for students with greater needs.
This framework addresses not just academics but also social-emotional learning and behavioral growth. Our goal is to ensure that every student feels confident and capable, knowing they have a network of adults cheering them on and helping them succeed.
Your role in this process is invaluable. Whether through conversations with teachers, participation in school activities, or the encouragement you provide at home, your involvement strengthens the foundation of support we aim to build for every student.
