The TRMS Science Olympiad Team participated in the Chattahoochee Invitational Science Olympiad on 11/9 and is pleased to inform you they won 3rd place.

We had 2 excellent groups of students who participated in the Invitational and we were able to win 3rd place overall under the leadership of Mrs. Shepard. We are very proud of the effort and time that these students are putting in to prepare for these events.

As a licensed therapist, Tiffany Poke specializes in helping teens, college students, and women navigate the complexities of life’s challenges. With a focus on relationship issues, adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, Tiffany provides a supportive and empathetic space for healing and growth. Tiffany's approach to therapy is integrative, drawing on a variety of therapeutic modalities to create a personalized treatment plan that best meets the unique needs of each client.

We are hosting a Thankful Lunch for our dedicated teachers on Friday, November 15th, during the lunch periods. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for their hard work and commitment to our students. A heartfelt thank you to those who have already signed up to volunteer. We are excited to announce our collaboration with the Atlanta Gladiators for another thrilling Spirit Night in January. This year's event will feature a Star Wars-themed game, and a portion of the ticket sales, along with proceeds from the Chuck a Puck, will support our PTA. At Fulton County Schools, we truly value the feedback from our parents about their experiences with the district. That is why I encourage all parents to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey. This survey allows parents the opportunity to tell us what they think about their student’s schools and the district. While we always make it a priority to listen to our parents, this survey affords us another opportunity to receive your thoughts and opinions.

The survey is anonymous and confidential. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. The survey will remain open from Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, November 22.

It’s not only parents we want to hear from. Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-12 will be provided with the opportunity to take the Annual Student Perception Survey between October 17 and November 22 during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the 3-5 student survey and/or the 6-12 Student Survey.

The Annual Perception Survey is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, and Punjabi. If you or your family would like to take it in a language that is not listed, please email your child’s principal.

Welcome to November!

We have finished the first quarter of the school year, and it has been full of good things from our Counseling PLC team! We left October in the "wind"!! Here are a few of our big-ticket items. We completed our bullying presentations with our 6th and 7th graders, our Red Ribbon Week was a success - check-out door decorations- we appreciate all the participants, and a cookie party is happening for our winners! We continued with our small groups- Growing Friends (7th), New Student (6-8th), Transition to Middle School Group (6th grade). Ms. Green has added another hat to her many roles and now she is assisting the SST/RTI process. We had our Parent Presentation on Attendance Awareness with ( Ms. Adams and Ms. Sheridan) and we ended the month with our 8th grade College and Career Fair. We look forward to our month of gratitude starting in November!

Academic Excellence Donation 24-25

These generous voluntary donations will be used exclusively to purchase academic programs or supplies to support student learning or to purchase learning opportunities for our Teachers to enhance their ability to educate our students. Publix, and Kroger offer community partnership programs that give us an opportunity to earn money for our school with every purchase. These are fantastic fundraising opportunities, and we encourage staff, parents, other family members, and friends to participate.
