2024-25 Planning
Preliminary planning for the 2024-2025 school year is beginning. If you have information about your child that you would like considered in making class placements, please submit an email to Mrs. Classon by the end of the day on Friday, May 10th. Final placement of students in specific classrooms will occur during the summer.
Please note: This is not an invitation to “request” a classroom teacher. Please do not include names of teachers in your email to Mrs. Classon. While we are able to take many things into consideration during the placement process, we cannot guarantee students will be placed into specific classrooms. Thank you for your understanding.
Are You Moving?
If you will be moving over the summer and your child will no longer be attending Valley Crossing Elementary next year, please contact the main office. It is very important that you notify us so that we can transfer your child’s records to their new school. Please email Merita LaPlante at mlaplant@sowashco.org or call 651-425-7500. Thank you!
Reading Corps and Math Corps Members Needed for 2024-25
Valley Crossing is looking for Reading and Math Corps tutors for the 2024-25 school year. You can take action in our community by giving your time and talent to help students build their skills and confidence!

VCES Kindness Connection Blood Drive
The Valley Crossing Kindness Connection is excited to partner with the Red Cross and host the very first

Red Cross Blood Drive
Tuesday, May 28th from 1:00-7:00PM
In January, the American Red Cross announced that they are currently facing an emergency blood shortage, because they are experiencing the lowest number of people giving blood in the last 20 years. So our VCES Kindness Connection has decided to help spread more kindness by helping our community donate time, money and blood to make a difference in the lives of many people.
Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation.
We are excited to work together and give back to the community in a truly life changing way!
Click here VCES Blood Drive to sign up to donate blood.
If you are interested in volunteering your time on the day of the event, please contact fschulze@sowashco.org or 651-425-7699.
Thank you in advance for your support and generosity!
