News and Notes
Sunday, Funday!
The week is upon us and we are looking forward to truly settling into the second semester of the 24-25 SY. The second semester is essential for planning for the upcoming year and making decision as it relates to classes/offerings for the year to come. Please be sure you've engaged with your child about the classes they have an interest in taking, the college classes that seem appealing and/or the work-based ventures that are culminating opportunities to CTAE pathways.
While mentioning scheduling, it's important to share that the Bryan County School system will offer an alternative opportunity for educational engagement for the 25-26SY. In order to ensure that all families are able to access this information, i have included more about "Bryan Academy" in the information below.
New Year, New Opportunities and New Chances to challenge your child to engage in something outside of the daily educational expectations. In the end, it's been proven time and time again that an engaged student is a successful student. Allow us to provide an opportunity to engage and if there is something missing and/or something you have a deeper interest reach out and lets see if this is something we can support at RHHS! Check out all of the extracurriculars here: Extracurricular Opportunities.
I am hopeful that your weekend was restful! We look forward to the week ahead. If I can ever be of assistance please don't hesitate to reach out via email: cmiller@bryan.k12.ga.us, Phone: 912-459-5151 or using this feedback form link here or always located at the end of the newsletter.
See ya, Love ya, Bye!

MCV-4 Important Information
At the age of 16, Georgia requires that your student receive the booster to the MCV4 vaccine.
If they do not receive the MCV4 booster on or after the age of 16, their immunization record, Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231), will expire.
If you have not already scheduled an appointment for your student to get their vaccines updated, please contact your healthcare provider or the Bryan County Health Department at 912-756-2611 to arrange the MCV4 booster.
Meningococcal disease is a serious bacterial illness that affects the brain and causes shock, coma and death within hours of the first symptoms. Georgia law requires students be vaccinated against this disease.
Please provide an updated copy of the Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231) once the MCV4 booster is completed. This document will become a part of your student’s permanent record once it is received by the RHHS clinic staff.
Contact your healthcare provider or the Bryan County Health Department with any questions related to the MCV4 Booster.
