Rock Your School Day at Wildlight Elementary
Wildlight Elementary School made a splash with its second annual participation in Rock Your School, a global initiative sponsored by Get Your Teach On. This year's Board Game Edition theme brought the school together, transforming each building into an immersive game board experience. From Jumanji to Candyland, Mouse Trap to Hungry Hungry Hippos, Guess Who to Uno, Scrabble, and Deck of Cards, every corner of the school became a hands-on learning adventure.
As students arrived, they were greeted by Yulee High School football players, who opened doors or greeted students as they got off the bus, and high-fived their younger peers. This energetic welcome set the stage for a day of exploration, creativity, and collaborative learning. With over 116,000 educators worldwide participating in Rock Your School, impacting more than 3 million students, Wildlight Elementary School was proud to contribute to this global movement.
The results were remarkable: students fully engaged, teachers inspiring creativity, and the community coming together to make learning fun. Rock Your School embodies Wildlight Elementary's commitment to innovative education, community partnership, and student-centered experiences.
