Please have your child arrive on time for school. Remember, first bell rings at 7:30 a.m. Students are tardy to class if they are not in their classrooms by 7:40 a.m.

Please use School Dismissal Manager to report how your child goes home. You can also use it to report absences or late arrivals due to appointments. You can also call the Attendance Line at 317-594-4840 to report an absence. If you need help, please call Stacy or Bonnie in office. Just a reminder to let office know reason for absences. If no reason given, student is given an unexcused.

TURNOVER HUNGER 2024 (September 6-16, 2024)

LAST COLLECTION DAY IS MONDAY

For the 4th year in a row, we are partnering with Fishers Youth Assistance Program (FYAP), on the Meijer Turnover Hunger food drive as a part of the Food for Thought community fund. Between September 6-16, we are asking the following breakfast, snack, and dinner items to be brought in by building type:

• Grades PreK-4: boxed oatmeal or fruit snacks
• Grades 5-8: granola bars, or Belvita bars
• Grades 9-12: ramen noodles or Pop Tarts

Ruby is a creative, adventurous girl who one day finds out that she has a worry. She hides the worry, so it grows and stops her from being her adventurous self. This book guides conversations about worries as something we can be aware of and control.

Our September Harvest of the Month is Corn! We will be highlighting corn and preparing it in different ways for students to try.

Global Flavors are returning this year! Our September Global Flavor is Spanish Cuisine. On September 19th (in addition to our regular menu offerings) we will be offering Paella as an entree or sample.

The cafeteria will begin offering snacks for purchase (.90-$1.25) to 1st-4th grade students.

The cafeteria will begin offering ice cream weekly. The cost is $1.25. Students must have money in their account or bring money in. We will be offering a variety of flavors, gluten free and dairy free options. If you would like to put restrictions on your student's lunch account please email or call Beth Verhoestra, DCE Cafeteria Manager.

Winter Recreational Basketball Registration is Open

• Boys Basketball - Registration for the Mudsock Boys Basketball rec season (K - 8th) and (New) Mudsock Elite (formerly Rec+) is open at myathletics.com. Please note, Mudsock Elite will be separate from the rec league; players who register for Mudsock Elite will NOT be required to register for rec basketball. Learn more.
