Town Hall Meetings
Superintendent Espinoza will be leading 3 Town Hall meetings to discuss the work of the Asset Management Superintendent's Advisory Committee. The meeting dates can be found below:
- Wednesday, April 3 at 5:30 PM at Mendoza School (2050 Coronado Avenue in San Diego)
- Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30 PM at Nestor Language Academy (1455 Hollister Street in San Diego)
- Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30 PM at Central School (1290 Ebony Avenue in Imperial Beach)
I hope that all Emory community members can attend at least one meeting to hear about the potential changes to our school and those around us. Enrollment for the 2024-2025 School Year
Enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. All new and current students will need to register for the new school year. We thank all the families that have already taken the time to register. If you are having any difficulties with the registration process, please call our office at (619) 628-5000.

Military Family Corner
Our school-based MFLCs are here and ready to listen and provide confidential feedback to support military students and parents through short-term, situational, problem-solving counseling sessions. MFLCs are also available to provide school-based support to school staff. Start your conversation today!
10TH ANNUAL WOMEN’S SYMPOSIUM
Friday, March 8, 8 am-1 pm
The symposium features diverse panels and speakers of women in sports, media, law, STEM, business, health, and more. This half-day conference emphasizes unity with accomplished women and male allies showcasing various perspectives, and encouraging students and other community members to reach their full potential both personally and professionally. It's an opportunity to connect and foster empowerment and shared success with upwards of 1,200 attendees. Active duty military-connected personnel and dependents are invited to attend at no cost.

TASK WORKSHOPS
TASK helps families navigate special education, disability services and assistive technology. They provide families with emotional support, information, and direction. TASK is the Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) for San Diego County. They offer multiple workshops and support groups to help you navigate the challenges you face. Workshops are available in English or Spanish and are offered free of charge.

ALEXANDER KREIGLOWA NAVY & MARINE CORPS DEPENDENTS EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Application Deadline: Tuesday, April 30
The Navy League of the United States San Diego Council administers the Alexander Kreiglowa Navy and Marine Corps Dependents Education Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship is open to all California high seniors who are the children of active duty, retired or deceased members of the United States Navy or Marine Corps and provides up to $15,000 per year toward the cost of tuition, books and academic fees. It is renewable for a total of 4 years subject to a minimum GPA and ongoing financial need. OPERATION BIGS
Big Brothers and Big Sisters of San Diego County is now enrolling youth in Operation Bigs; a free program providing mentoring and support to students of military families. Youth must be a least 7 years old, a military dependent, and able to participate 2-4 times a month for at least one calendar year.

FREE ADVENTURE FOR 4TH GRADERS
