World Downs Syndrome Day
Our students enjoyed participating in World Downs Syndrome Day today. There were many pairs of mismatched socks being Rocked at school and classroom discussions about the importance of including others even when they look or act different from us. All people are human beings and deserve to be included in our world. Our world is a better place when we look for the assets in others recognizing that we have more in common than our differences.

Students will be sent home with information regarding the Kid’s Heart Program through the American Heart Association. This is an optional fundraiser, but our PE department can earn an equipment gift certificate by half of our students simply creating an account (which does not require fundraising).
