From the BTV
1st Day School Supply Kits
We are excited to share that we are once again partnering with 1st Day School Supplies for supply kits for the 2025-2026 school year! This will be our third year partnering with them as we continue to receive positive feedback from the families that order. Kits are available for Young 5s - 6th Grade.
(We know, we know…how RUDE to even talk about next year when this year isn’t done yet! But hey, now you can order and brag about how far ahead you are on your to-do list!) 😉
Last year we had about 200 kits purchased and it makes it a breeze! You order kits now and they’ll be delivered to your child’s classroom waiting for them on the first day of school. No supply shopping to do in August! As a bonus, the BTV receives $5 for every kit sold! 💵
NOTE: These are completely optional! You are welcome to do your shopping on your own as well.
👉 Order here: 1stDay.sale/50991 (You’ll select your child’s grade they’ll be going into and note that some grades have specific lists by gender or last name to help split up class supply needs.)
Ordering will be open until July 1st!
2025-2026 BTV Board
We are excited to announce our 2025-2026 BTV Board for the upcoming school year!
Amy and Jenny will remain on the board taking on new roles and we welcome our new board members - Kristen (newish as she was on the board previously before having her last little love bug and now she’s baaaaack!), Lisa, Kathryn, and Christa!
The six of us are passionate about leading this parent group into another amazing year supporting our students and staff! Our brains are already swirling with fun and new ideas and cannot wait to partner with all of you to make Beacon Tree the best place to be!
On behalf of our entire All Stars Family, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks to Erin Makl, Rose Moschelli, and Cathy Wong for their dedication to the BTV Board. They have collectively volunteered hundreds of hours to make our school a better place. They will all be 6th grade parents next year because their children rudely decided to grow up, so they are moving on from the board to soak up the last year of elementary school. (Although they’ll still be around to volunteer and know to keep their phones handy when we text with our How do I? Where do I? questions.) 😉
While they’ve left big shoes to fill, we’re confident our new board will do them proud. We promise to carry on their dedication to our school family! 💜
Save the Date: Jimmy John’s Night at the Ballpark
Before everyone gets too fully immersed in their summer plans, the BTV will be hosting a night out at Jimmy John’s Field for families and staff. Mark your calendars for Friday, June 20. Flyers and ticket sales info will be coming home next week!
A Little of This and That
- Recess Bins: They have been restocked! Kids have their choice of soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, playground balls, kick balls, a set of bases, jump ropes, hoola hoops, velcro catch, toss across tic-tac-toe, and a few other fun things! We kindly ask to remind your children to treat the recess equipment with care and hope they enjoy playing outside!
- Yearbooks: They have been purchased by the BTV for all preschool - 6th grade students for crushing our Fun Run goals and will be hot off the press soon!
- Field Day: The BTV is providing a snow cone station and foam party station this year!
