Principal's Message
Dear NOHS Families,
Happy New Year and we hope you had an enjoyable winter break!
As we begin the 2nd semester, we will hold class meetings on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. These meetings will focus on grade-level specific information. A key topic for all grade levels will be a review of our attendance and tardy policy. Please note that the first three tardies of each quarter are automatically excused. However, the 4th tardy and any subsequent tardies will be unexcused. Excessive tardiness may result in after-school detentions.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on January 16, and January 22 from 4:00PM - 7:30PM.
We will also be holding 8th grade Parent Night on January 16 at 6:30PM and AP/CCP Night on January 22 at 6:30PM both meetings will be held in the Performing Arts Center.

Polaris Career Center offers North Olmsted High School students a unique opportunity to enhance their educational success. Whether your student is considering college, specialized training, or immediately entering the workforce, a career-technical education at Polaris is a beneficial curriculum option.
Polaris Career Center offers career training in 19 occupational fields, all of which offer students the opportunity to earn college credit. Students are provided with real-world experiences to develop skills that will prepare them for college and careers.
We are proud to have Polaris as our educational partner. If your student is interested in combining academics with a career-technical program, we recommend exploring the educational options at Polaris Career Center.
Calamity Days
When North Olmsted has a calamity day all transportation for the district is canceled, therefore there will not be a bus to or from Polaris if they are still in session. Students will be excused from Polaris for the day if they are not able to get their own transportation to and from Polaris.
Polaris days off schedule for the rest of the year.
