Highlights from the Week
Balancing Act
Physical education classes are so much more than free play. Students exercise to build fine and gross motor skills, learn how to appropriately play with others, and reset their energies to resume focus in the classroom. We are thankful for the time and energy Coach Morris, Mrs. Nikki, and Coach Cydney put in to plan for these activities.

Depot Park Campus Meeting Recap
Upper school parents and students were able to get a sneak peek at the newly renovated DC Student Center that will be leased as a campus location for our upper school classes. We were hopeful to get moved in now, but due to the upcoming Strawberry Festival, it will be May before we can move in. Although this only gives us a short amount of time to hold class at the new location, it will give school administrators the opportunity to determine any needed adjustments for carline and the daily schedule so that the fall semester will hopefully begin more smoothly and with less stress for the students.
Painting with Light
Photography students experimented this week with a new technique of painting with light. The results of a few glow sticks, a dark room and a camera produced some really cool designs.
