NEWS & INFORMATION
9/27/2024
Happy Friday! We’ve had a wonderful week at school, full of exciting learning experiences for our students. All students have been engaged in our new ELA curriculum, Bookworms. Students have enjoyed participating in choral and partner reading. Some grades have been looking for evidence in the text to support their answers to comprehension questions. Other grades have collaborated to solve math problems with a partner. Recess time has been full of laughter, with students enjoying the fresh air and making new friends. It’s been a fun and productive week, and we’re so proud of our students' progress! We would like to thank Goggin for coming to Marshall for specials today and demonstrating hockey skills. The students really enjoyed them being here.
PICK UP
To help ensure students arrive at their correct dismissal location, we kindly ask that you contact the main office by 2:30 PM if there are any changes to your child’s dismissal plan. While we understand that emergencies can happen, we’ve noticed a significant increase in last-minute changes around 3:00 PM, which can cause confusion and delays. By notifying us by 2:30 PM, we can make sure your child receives a dismissal note and reaches the right spot after school. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
MARSHALL ELEMENTARY RECIEVES 4.5 STARS ON THE STATE REPORT CARD!
We are thrilled to say that Marshall received 4.5 stars on our state report card and we earned 17 out of 20 stars! This is AMAZING! It takes the staff, students, and families working together to get that rating! Mrs. Jones is so proud of the dedication of the Marshall staff, the students for working hard, and the parents for getting their students here on time! WAY TO GO MARSHALL! Thank you for your continued support in making our school a vibrant place for learning. We look forward to many more wonderful accomplishments!
