Experience and Degrees a Focus for Millard Teachers
The Board of Education received the personnel report at Monday evening's meeting. Millard teachers believe in education for both their students and themselves. A total of 1,348 Millard employees have their masters degrees. Forty-nine employees have their doctorates.
Millard teachers also have experience. Certificated staff members have worked for Millard for an average of 12 years and an average of more than 15 years in education.
Millard Reports Strong ACT Results
The Board of Education received the graduating class of 2024 ACT Report. Millard students continue to outperform both the state and nation on national assessments. Millard graduating seniors' average composite score was 21.1. The state was 19.1, and the nation was 19.4.
Do You Have Concerns About Your Child's Development?
Millard Public Schools Early Childhood Special Education is offering a developmental screening for children from newborn to 36 months. These screenings are for families that are concerned about the development of their young children. Some areas the screenings will cover are: speech and language development, physical skills, play skills, behavior, vision, hearing, and other development needs areas.
