During the winter months, the children go out on the playground except in the extreme cold when temperatures are 25 degrees or below, or in snow/icy conditions. Students should wear appropriate clothing to school for the winter conditions that may exist (i.e. hats, gloves, scarves, and/or boots). In the interest of their overall health, it is important for children to be outside as much as possible.

Please label your child's coat, sweatshirt, hat, gloves, scarves, etc. so we can return them quickly if they end up in the Lost and Found.

Additionally, please be reminded of the following during this extreme cold period. Adult supervision begins daily at 8:30 AM. Students should not arrive at school before this time. Depending on the weather conditions and at the discretion of our supervisory personnel, students will not be admitted into the building before 8:30 AM.

Haddon Township Board of Education offers healthy meals every school day.

Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-priced meals.
