Scheduling Information
2025-2026 School Year
Class Meetings
This week, class meetings were held with students in grades 9-11 to discuss next year's scheduling process, curriculum information, and new course offerings. Additionally, we reviewed our graduation requirements and new grade scale. We will provide more information about our grade scale in the future.
2025-2026 Curriculum Guide
At this time, the course curriculum guide is available for viewing on the high school's guidance webpage. The course selection guide will provide you with all course descriptions, and it is divided by subject area. Each course provides the amount of credits earned for that course, which grade level is eligible for the course, and prerequisites needed to take the course. Provided here is a link for the Course Curriculum Guide.
Course Selection Sheets
The grade-level course selection sheets are available on the high school's guidance webpage. All students are required to request their courses using the PowerSchool portal, and they must turn in the course selection sheet to their advisory teacher.
Scheduling Considerations
- Be aware of course prerequisites, sequences, and recommendations.
- Explore future career options.
- Make sure your choices reflect your busy lives. Take jobs, family obligations, and extracurriculars into account. Don't overextend yourself.
- Talk with your current teachers and counselor if you have questions about the level of a course to select and/or their suggestions.
PowerSchool Scheduling
Throughout the month of March, students will have time to read through the course selection guide to have a comprehensive understanding of course offerings for next school year. Students will have time to ask questions and find the courses that work for your student.
- When in the PowerSchool student screen, click on Course Registration. This will provide you with the choices for selecting courses.
- You must log in to PowerSchool using the student account. Parent accounts will not work.
- The PowerSchool Portal will open on Wednesday, April 2, and we will support students through the registration process.
Pathways to Graduation
All students are required to meet one of the Pennsylvania Pathways to Graduation. Counselors will work with your student to ensure they are progressing to complete one of the five pathways. Below is a diagram with further information regarding the pathways to graduation.
