Oh! What a Knight!
A huge well done to the members of the drama club: what a fantastic performance they put on this week! We were especially impressed with the flexibility of the children, how they supported each other and made sure that the show could go on. The singing was wonderful, voices were loud and the jokes, although terrible, were delivered with style! Thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to come and support the children.

Student Leadership Conference
What an incredible day some of our JLT have had. Children were selected at random represent our Junior Leadership Team.
They joined with other junior leaders from across our Trust at the GXO Conference Centre in Sherburn to share some of their hard work and changes they have been striving for at South Milford within their school projects this year.
The children have listened to some key figures give inspirational talks, including TV presenter Richard Bilton (from Panorama) and have inspired each other with the impactful work they have undertaken.
Our children proudly shared the work the JLT had completed this year and reflected upon what we could do further next year. We really have been inspired.
Well done to all of South Milford's JLT and a special thank you to Lottie and Estha for taking on the challenge of the conference! Maybe next year, it could be you representing our school!
We are so very proud of you all and the hard work you have put in.
End of Year Reports
Your child should have brought their end of year report home with them this evening.
Meal Arrears
If you have any outstanding payments due for school meals please could you ensure that they are paid before we break for summer next Friday.
Trust Safeguarding Newsletter
Safeguarding our young people is a collective responsibility and with our ever changing world, it is crucial as adults, we are aware of these changes and how we can support our children. This month’s edition of our Trust Safeguarding Newsletter includes how to promote children’s understanding of body safety and consent, supporting parents in regulating screen time across the holiday period and an important note on Snapchat’s ‘For My Eyes Only’ feature.
If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a member of the school’s safeguarding team.
