Retake Day is for students who are returning a package (must have with them), who are buying a package (must have order form and payment with them), or were not present on the Fall Picture Day in September.

I know you often hear, “Join Wilson Creek’s PTO!,” but what does that mean? I thought it would be fun to show you how your PTO membership donation is being put to good use!

Here’s what our PTO was up to in October!

• They organized BINGO Night! This included purchasing prizes, food, and recruiting volunteers for a fun evening!
• Science Force is completely funded by PTO! Our students love the hands-on labs and getting to see their grownups help! This month labs were held for Kindergarten and 1st Grade.
• Wilson Creek staff work hard! PTO made sure that the staff lounge stayed stocked with the yummiest of treats. They also funded the monthly lunch for our Professional Learning Community staff - this month is for our Specials and Special Areas teachers.
• Movie Night was led by our All Pro Dad group through PTO. This has become such a fun and memorable tradition that I hope to continue doing!
• Buses! PTO paid for the buses our first graders took on their field trip to the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center.
• PTO helped set up/take down our Literati Book Fair and recruit volunteers to make it a success!

If you’ve become a PTO member or volunteered at any of these events, thank you for being a part of what makes Wilson Creek so wonderful.

Lenox has been at Wilson Creek for 4 years and currently leads our All Pro Dad group. He was instrumental in organizing Movie Night and is always willing to lend his time to school events. Thank you, Lenox!!

Wilson Creek PTO Yearbook Team

Please take a few minutes to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey for Wilson Creek ES. The county monitors this data and provides feedback to the individual schools. We need to have a good percentage of parents respond for our data to be valid...and we do want to know what you think. Please note that only a rating of 9 or 10 is considered to be promoting the school. If you love Wilson Creek, please give us a 9 or 10 on the rating scale!

The survey is anonymous and confidential. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. The survey will remain open from Wednesday, October 16 through Friday, November 22.

It’s not only parents we want to hear from. Our students’ opinions are important too! Students in grades 3-12 will be provided with the opportunity to take the Annual Student Perception Survey between November 11-November 22 during the school day. In our ongoing efforts to remain transparent with parents, please take a moment to review the 3-5 student survey and/or the 6-12 Student Survey.

The Annual Perception Survey is currently available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Hindi, and Punjabi. If you or your family would like to take it in a language that is not listed, please email your child’s principal.

Students will participate in Remote Learning on Tuesday, November 5th. Your child's teacher will send home their work for the day. Please make sure the work is turned in within 2 days of your child's return (aka Thursday, November 7 for most) in order for them to be counted present for the day. Thank you!

Our annual Thanksgiving Feasts will be Wednesday November 20th for K, 2nd, and 5th grades and Thursday November 21st for 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. Ticket sales will open on Tuesday, October 29th. You must purchase a ticket in advance - no tickets will be sold at the door. For more information and schedules, please click the link below.

The Northview Nation at Northview High School and the Student Council are having a Trunk or Treat before the football game on November 1st. It will be at the football stadium parking lot. Bring your kids for a sweet treat!

Everyone is welcome to this free event. Costumes are encouraged!
