We are the PACK!
Smiley Thoughts
PACK Guardians and Students,
If you have not see the video above, I HIGHLY recommend that you watch it if you are a guardian. No matter if you like the guy or not, he drops some truth bombs that we all need to hear for our own sake and the sake of our children. Here are some Hubbard reminders:
UIL TOMORROW - The PACK is ready to dominate some academic UIL tomorrow! The official schedule has been given to participants and we hope to see them around 15 minutes EARLY for their events at the Career and Technology Center and wearing Hubbard colors. Let's show the rest of the district that we are the number one middle school!
TRAFFIC - We have had ongoing struggles with traffic at Hubbard and are working to fix it. How can you help? First, please obey all normal traffic laws. Second, the outside lane in front of the school needs to remain clear, it is a fire lane and is not for parking or waiting for your student. Please use the inside two lanes for that. Third, when pulling through the front of the building, it is a one way road. Please do not take a left and go against traffic to pull out onto Copeland.
Testing Days - Just an FYI that on the upcoming benchmark and STAAR testing days, Hubbard is a closed campus to visitors and lunch drop off. Thank you for understanding!
Transfers - The Tyler ISD transfer window will open February 1st and close March 1st. The website provides all details regarding transfers and you can pick up a transfer application in the front office starting February 1st and they are due by MARCH 1st. Just a reminder that ALL transfers must re-apply every year unless you have moved to the official Hubbard school zone. Response letters regarding your transfer application will be mailed out April 1st. Transfer applications should be turned in at the front office.
Free athletic physicals - Mark your calendar! The Tyler ISD Free Physical day will be Friday May 9th. We will bus athletes to and from the venue. This is needed for 2025-2026 7th graders and Freshmen.
-------------------------------------------------------------REPEATS--------------------------------------------------------------------
Leaving Early - If you are picking your child up early from school please do so by 3:15 p.m. We do not allow students to be checked out after 3:15 p.m. since this could hamper our dismissal procedures and ability to retrieve multiple students before the bell. The front office is closed between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m.
Yearbook pictures - In addition to looking for some 1st day of school pics, we would love to have any of your great student pictures for consideration in the yearbook! You can use this yearbook google folder to upload them in addition to the first day pics folder.
