MS Musical Preliminary Schedule
This email was sent to students this past week:
Regardless of your role in this show (ensemble/cast member) you will need to fill out the following Audition Form: Click Here. Please do this prior to your audition or by Feb 13th if you plan on just being in the ensemble and do not want to audition. If you forget to fill this form out, a paper version will be available during audition times.
If you are planning to audition:
Please fill out this signup genius link to tell us when you plan to audition. In an audition, you can have up to 4 people in the room at a time. Once the time slot has 4 people it should not be available to sign up on. Please let me know if you are having difficulties signing up. A list of who is auditioning at what times (and available times) will be posted in the band room for those who decide to audition the day of.
When you arrive on the day of your audition, you will leave anything you don't need for the audition in the band room and wait there for your audition to start. In the band room will be the paper audition forms, a participation form, and the materials we will be using for the cold read. Once we are ready we will bring you into the choir room.
During the audition, you will be asked to do the following:
- Perform a short monologue (30 seconds to a minute at most) OR do a cold read of one of the scenes in the show with the others in your audition group.
- Sing a part of a song for us (30 seconds to a minute at most). If you are not planning on taking a role that has a solo, you are allowed to sing with other members of your audition group.
Last note: If you have friends that are not getting this email, feel free to share this email with others as they can still sign up to audition up to the last day of auditions (Feb 13th) or tell them to refer to the QR Codes posted on the white boards.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the show or auditions, please reach out to me. We want you all to be able to be in this show one way or another, so please do not think that we will not let you join as long as you fill out the necessary forms. We look forward to your auditions seeing you at our first rehearsal on Feb 18th!

Ski Brule Trip
The Ski Club SKI BRULE TRIP is now open to ANY Winneconne Middle or High School student or parent. You don’t have to be a ski club member to participate. We want to fill a few more seats on the Ski Brule bus. Click HERE for more info.
This year we will be participating in the Snow How program at Ski Brule in Iron River, MI on Monday, February 17 (6:00 am - 8:30 pm). A great way to be active on a no-school day!
Washington DC Trip
Ashley Noack, 8th grade Social Studies, is excited to announce that she will be leading a group of Winneconne Middle School students on a WorldStrides program to Washington, D.C.
On this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, students will explore our nation's most important historical sites and experience incomparable learning moments. This will be a trip that your child will be talking about for years to come! You can find highlights on the WorldStrides website of all that we'll do and see on the trip.
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email at noacka@w-csd.org
