HFRCS Newsletter June 11, 2024
SY 2023-2024 - Vol.3 Issue 41
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Happy last week of school! It seems that since we returned from Easter break, the school year has really flown by! So here we are with just two days left and we are filled with so many memories. We certainly praise and thank God for his many blessing to us this school year!
On Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 PM, we will celebrate our 8th grade graduates with a Graduation Mass and Ceremony. We wish our graduates great success and the blessings of God as they move forward in their high school journey. We know that they will do great things and make us very proud!
Tomorrow, we will have just students from grades 1-5, and there will be an 11:30 AM dismissal. On Thursday, all students in grades 1-7 are to report to school. We will be celebrating the closing of the school year Mass at 9:30 AM followed by the end of the year Awards Ceremony. Please join us if your schedule permits. Students should wear their regular summer uniform for Mass. Dismissal will follow at 11:30 AM.
When students in grades 1-7 leave on Thursday afternoon, they will have with them very important information. First, they will be receiving their end of year report card. In the report card envelope will also be their Terra Nova results along with a letter from the Office of Catholic Education. The letter assists in helping parents with interpreting what the Terra Nova scores mean. Finally, the students should be bringing home their summer work packets. Please be sure to put the packets in a safe place so that your child can work on them over the summer and have them to return to school in September.
Over the summer months, our school office hours will be Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All office staff are available by email for any questions or concerns. We will also be sending out 4 newsletters over the summer; one at the end of June, one in July and two in August. Be on the lookout for these newsletters as they contain important information.
As we conclude the 2023-2024 school year, I wish to thank all our parents and guardians for your continued support. Our school is successful when we all work together. I want to wish everyone a very blessed and safe summer break. May you all enjoy peace and refreshment these summer months. Don’t forget to attend Mass each weekend with your children. I look forward to welcoming everyone back to school in September!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty
We are a family of FAITH!
Remember to go to Mass this weekend.

From the Office of Enrollment & Marketing
2024-2025 Opt-Out REQUIRED NOW
With the last day of school being this Thursday, I want to remind everyone that an official opt-out form is required if you are not returning in the fall. I currently have a waitlist and want to ensure I am able to give new families a prompt admissions decision. Please note your first tuition pull happens in the next few weeks and if you are still officially enrolled, you will be responsible for that payment.
OPT-OUT FORM: https://hfrcs.org/continuous-enrollment-opt-out
If you do submit the opt-out form you are relinquishing your seat and are not guaranteed re-admittance should you change your mind. If you have any questions or concerns before officially submitting the form please feel free to reach out to me directly either by phone or email. brittany.konen@hfrcs.org, 215-269-9600 ext. 209
Financial Aid for 2024-2025 School Year
Please see the attached letter for important information about Financial Aid. Even if your family received financial assistance in the past, a new application must be submitted each year.
Families who do not apply will not be eligible to receive aid.
Please note that the school has not been notified of our total financial aid funding for 2024-2025 school year. However, it is expected to be lower than what we received this school year with the large one-time gift. We should have more information at the end of this month or early next month. The Business Office will not finalize your account until your financial aid application has been reviewed so you may be placed on a August to May tuition schedule.
Student Referral Incentive Program
Our Student Referral Incentive Program awards a referring Holy Family Regional Catholic School family with a $200 tuition credit posted in December as a way of saying thank you for your trust and confidence in our school community. See the Student Referral Incentive Program for more information on eligibility requirements for the incentive payment.
