We always go big at Hoover High School!

Digital Learning Day is Wednesday, February 17, 2016 which means we'll celebrate all week! Complete the challenge (3 activities), and your name will go into a drawing for a Starbucks or iTunes gift card (3 will be given away).

How to enter the drawing? Email me or tag me (on twitter) each time you complete an activity. Complete 3 activities and your name will be entered. Good luck!

How to Enter the Drawing

Join Voxer and send a Vox (voice message) to Jennifer Hogan (@jennifer_hogan). Want an extra entry in the drawing? Have a student send Jennifer a Vox stating why he/she thinks Hoover High is awesome!

Trend the Positive with #CelebrateMonday

Educators around the globe share positive messages about education on Mondays and use the hashtag #CelebrateMonday. Be sure to do this on Monday, February 15th for an entry!

Create a chat with your students before, during, or after class. It's a great way to create background knowledge, give a voice to introverts, and continue the discussion after class. Remember to share your hashtag!

Bring in the Expert - double entry!

Use Skype or Google Hangouts with your class(es) to connect them with an "expert" such as an engineer, poet, CPA, actor, pilot, etc. This activity will get you a double entry in the drawing.
