- Summer School
- Teachers, will be reaching out to parents of students that may need summer school due to failing a course. They will also alert the student's counselor as well so they can follow up with the student and family.

HS Summer School 2025 will be held at Forsyth Central High School from June 2-June 26 (Monday-Thursday). Please note that this summer school option is for credit recovery only and is free of charge. Transportation will be provided from the student's base school to/from Forsyth Central High School and lunch will be available for students who are attending. Students can complete the North Forsyth High School Summer School Registration Request, so counselors can begin to register students.
Due to the short time frame of the summer session, the attendance policy is strictly adhered to throughout the summer. Students are allowed two absences and then they are automatically withdrawn from the course- unless otherwise approved.

We are encouraging families to go ahead and pay for graduation parking ahead of time. No cash will be accepted on the day of graduation. Students will receive a parking pass. April 21st/22nd - Senior Exit Meetings will be held in all government/economics classes. We will go over all of the information below with seniors and give them some final reminders as they head into senior exams. If students do not have a government/economics class on campus, the presentation will be shared via Canvas messenger.
Cap/Gown Distribution (April 23rd) - Before students are dismissed for the senior picnic, they will be instructed to visit the bus lane to pick up their cap/gown that they ordered through 3rd Ascent. Senior Picnic (April 23rd) - It is our tradition to have a Senior Picnic during Senior Week to celebrate our wonderful class of students. Join us on Coal Mountain Field from 9:30-Noon for food, music, and fun!! Students are encouraged to wear something that represents their future plans. We also tell students to bring either blankets or chairs to sit on while enjoying the day.
Senior Citizen Bingo Bash (April 25th) - Students can sign up for Senior Citizen Bingo during Raider Time on Friday, April 25th on Student Support Time. Bingo Cards and dabbers will be provided. We will play several rounds of fast-paced bingo for PRIZES! Prizes include dorm/apartment essentials - perfect for your next chapter!
Senior Letters - All letters are due by April 25th in order for us to have time to sort the letters into folders. Letters can be mailed to the school or dropped off in the counseling/front office. Please share this with your student's family, friends, former teachers, and coaches!
Graduation Announcements - There is still time to order graduation announcements via 3rd Ascent. Once ordered, they should arrive in 7-10 business days. Order today to send to family and friends to announce your student's achievement!
Senior Sunset (May 8th) - Join us at the conclusion of senior finals to celebrate one last night in Raider Valley starting at 7PM. We will have music, drinks, ice cream, and pass out your senior letter folders. All senior students will have a senior letter packet for pick-up. Please feel free to bring comfy seating and/or activities for you and your friends! If students are unable to pick up their senior letter packet, they will be available for pick-up at Senior Breakfast.
Senior Breakfast (May 14th) - Senior Breakfast will be served at 8:30AM on Wednesday, May 14th in the NFHS Cafeteria. We will serve Chick-fil-A biscuits for all students and have coffee/waters available too. This meeting is MANDATORY for all seniors as we will be discussing all things regarding graduation expectations. In addition, students will pick up their graduation packets, which contains: 14 graduation tickets (unless additional were requested), two commemorative programs, a student parking pass, regalia, and important information! The meeting will last no later than 10AM. Senior Awards Night (May 14th) - This is an invitation-only event. Students must receive an invitation to attend. We will be celebrating academic scholarships awarded to students and other school-based awards. It will be held in the PAC starting at 6:30PM. Baccalaureate (May 15th) - This traditional event is held at First Baptist Cumming. It is a Christian non-denominational graduation celebration. It is not required to attend, but the invitations extend to each graduating senior. The event will start at 6:30. Students are asked to wear their graduation gown and regalia. No hat is required. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.
Graduation (May 20th) - Our last event is graduation on Tuesday, May 20th at 7PM. It will be held at Gas South Arena in Duluth. Students will be expected to arrive by 5PM. They will have their own parking pass and park in Deck #3 on levels 4, 5, and 6. Check-in will be on Level 3. Students will be walking A LOT. Please make sure you wear comfy shoes. Family and friends will need to purchase a parking pass for the event. Graduation lasts approximately 2 hours. Graduation will be live streamed if family/friends are unable to attend. Students will only be permitted to bring their keys into the arena. They cannot bring phones or other items to distract from this joyous celebration. Students will be dismissed out the front of the arena to meet their family members. There will be flags flying with letters, so students can meet their family under the letter that corresponds to their last name.

Raiders Perform in Percussion Regional Musical Festival
Theater News:
Finding Nemo - May 1 at 6:30, May 2nd at 6:30 and May 3rd at 3:30 and 6:30 pm. May 9th at 6:30 and May 10th at 1 PM (time for that show still TBD)
We are wrapping up the season with a family musical presented by our Advanced Musical Theatre Class, FINDING NEMO! This musical will feature spectacular puppets, scenery and of course incredible performances by our talented NoFo Stage Students. This hour-long musical is perfect for audiences of all ages! FCS Faculty and Staff receive 2 complimentary tickets by ordering with their school email at www.nofostage.org . ESPORTS Teams Advance in State Playoffs
Varsity Splatoon team won their first round of playoffs against East Coweta High School! We're moving forward to the second round of playoffs (top 16 teams!) this Friday against Grovetown high school.
Mario Kart team just won in our first playoff game against Pickens County High School! We are set to play in the second round of playoffs next week (top 16!!!) against Richmond Hill High School.
