Hello Legacy Families!

As always, we have A LOT coming up in the next few weeks that I would like to draw your attention to:

• Sunday, 11/3, Dino Dash
• Wednesday, 11/6 PTO General Meeting
• Monday-Wednesday, 11/18-11/20, WASC
• Friday, 11/22, Fall Festival

If you haven't registered yet for Dino Dash, we hope you will consider registering and selecting Legacy as your school. We are extremely proud of the fact that we have held the title for highest participating secondary school since the year we opened, and we have no plans of letting that trophy go! You can register for the 2K, 5K, 10K, Bike Race, or even purchase a Runnership (a sponsorship for a student in need), ALL of these count towards our registration, and $10 from EACH goes directly back to Legacy. Congratulations to our Young Man of the Month, Matthew Hsieh. Matthew is an incredible person who has done “all the things” and is known on campus as a role model to other students. Most notably, he has maximized his dual enrollment opportunities to earn his AA and is the proud founder of the FBLA club. We wish him the best of luck while he pursues his dreams of business and entrepreneurship at University of Pennsylvania.

Our very first Baile night was this Wednesday! In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrated culture, dancing, fashion, and unity. Baile Night had it all; thank you to the families who came out to celebrate with us at Legacy!

BOO! It’s almost Halloween which means Boo Grams are on sale for only $1 each at the TIDE Shack until October 28th. Buy a spooky treat for anyone special to you!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wear teal, steel, and PINK each Friday in October to honor and support patients and survivors!

Seniors! Are you tired of parking in the sun alongside sophomores and juniors? Enter in the drawing to win a shaded parking spot! A new winner will be drawn each month, and your purchases will continue to roll over! Purchase as many tickets as you’d like!

Keep a lookout for mini dino ducks hidden around campus every Wednesday! It’s a fun competition to get excited for Dino Dash! Don’t forget to sign up or sponsor a runner to keep our winning streak.

Next Monday is our first TIDEpool Tutoring session. This is a time for Middle School students to receive help from their High School mentors. It will take place in Mr. Maduenos' room every Monday during point break.

Wear your Legacy spirit every Friday to show your TIDE Spirit! Don’t miss out on the next wave of spirit days!

This month, there is a fundraiser for the Seniors TV, Film, and Digital Media class. Cookies and treats can be shipped home or to the school and will be distributed at the end of the month. Purchase at tinyurl.com/lmafilmfund

Serve up the fun at the Pickleball Club Tournament! The Pickleball Club is hosting a month-long tournament from now until October 28th. Bring your friends to watch or compete in this fun tournament.

Wish yourself, friends, teachers, or anyone you know a happy birthday! Purchase a Birthday Marquee message for $10 online or at the TIDE Shack!
