English Village Family Edition

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPALS:
This week's message is about the month of March and staying the course. March can most definitely feel really, really long, especially in schools. There are no breaks or long weekends in March. It is that time of year where Spring fever is kicking in, and people really look forward to warmer weather and getting outside. The school year begins to feel long...
Teaching and learning tend to become more challenging. Kids become antsy. Adults may not be as patient as they regularly are. It probably feels this way at home just as it does at school.
My ask is that we all stay the course and remember that this is typically a challenging time of year. Please start fresh every day and go into the day as optimistically as possible and assume good intentions. Maybe try to have more patience with others than usual knowing that most of us are facing the challenges mentioned above at this time of year. One saying that resonates with us to allow for space and grace, both for yourself and all others. Your children/our students deserve this!
We've got this, EV Family! Thank you for everything you do on a daily basis for your children/our students! Your efforts are greatly appreciated! Be well and have a great week!
Sincerely,
Jason Lewis
