Hello Blue Jay Community!

We have almost made it through another year! Just another week and a half and summer break begins. Thank you to everyone that has supported our students and school by volunteering, donating, attending events, being communicative with staff, and more! We could not be the great school we are without your partnership.

Below you will find information about the end of the year as well as summer information.

School Summer Hours

Main Office remains open until June 21st from 7:15am - 3:15pm

School and Main Offfice closed from June 21st to August 13th

Let's end our year on a high note by remembering the parking lot rules and procedures. Please see below for a recap and image directions.

- Visitor, Community, Parent parking is the East Side (or left hand side) parking lot closest to the playground. The other parking lot (West Side) is busses and staff only.

- If you need/want to get out of your car, use a parking spot, not the pick-up line

- If you are in the pick-up line, remain in your car

- Always pull all the way forward in the pick-up line

- Never park or wait in the Fire Lane (red curbs)

- If your child needs assistance getting in the car and you need to exit your vehicle to help, please use a parking spot not the pick-up line

Reminder that the last day of school is an Early Release Day and students are dismissed at 11:05. Please plan dismissal accordingly.

Parents of 6th grade students - we would love to have you join us on the last day of school from 10:15-10:45 am for our Promotion Ceremony. It will take place in the gym.

Following the ceremony the students will parade down our main hallway and you can meet them at our front doors as they exit elementary school for the last time 😀

If you are an early bird shopper and want to buy next year's school supplies as soon as the stores start stocking them, here is our 2024-2025 School Supply List.

We have removed and/or decreased the quantity requested for items that we have an abundance of to save you some money, therefore this list may look a little different from the full Hillsboro School District list.

• Are you planning a club or hosting an event next year? Do you need help organizing, funding, or advertising your club or event? Would you like us to showcase your club or event at the Welcome Back & Supply drop night in August? Reach out to Melissa at President@bluejayboosters.org
