Today Bella Vista Homecoming “A Night in Hollywood” Ticket Sales open online at GoFan.co - Tickets are $20 w/SB card and $25 w/o. Use Student ID as Access Code. Only one ticket per id#. NO Ticket Sales at Door!
Homecoming “A Night in Hollywood” is being held Saturday, October 12 from 7:30pm - 10:00pm in the BV Large Gym. Students must enter dance by 9pm and *No re-entry*. Semi-formal Red Carpet Event (no jeans). Free photo booth and light refreshments.
Homecoming Guest Pass Applications for Non-BV students are available in the front office. Completed applications are due Tuesday, October 8 by 3:30pm, NO EXCEPTIONS!
All students must have an Early Dismissal Pass prior to leaving campus early. We cannot clear absences after the fact if you leave without a pass.
Attention Seniors! Tomorrow the Library will be hosting College Application Workshops #1 during 5th & 6th period. Students who have a 5th or 6th period need to see Mrs. Sloan in the library for a pass.
- BV is still competing against Del Campo for the Pink Link Fundraiser. Buy 1 link for $1 or 10 for $5. Last day students can buy links is this Wednesday. We encourage all students to bring $1 to their 4th period class and Stud Gov will collect during personal bulletin. All money raised goes to the American Cancer Society. Paper chains from each campus will be measured against each other at the BV vs. DC Girls Flag Football Game on Oct. 3rd. We'll also have Venmo available that day and have Venmo codes in the halls. Teachers can donate also!

Athletic Events

Today come out and support Girls Flag Football home games against Vista Del Lago. JV starts at 4:30pm and Varsity at 5:30pm.
- Girls Volleyball have home games Today against Vista Del Lago. Freshman at 4:30pm, JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 6:30pm. Come cheer them on!
- Today, Girls Varsity Water Polo head to River City High School. Game begins at 5pm. Go Broncos!
- This week Boys Basketball Practices are being held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm (Due to craft Fair No Practice Saturday, Oct. 5)
- During the month of October Boys & Girls Soccer Conditioning will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 3:45 - 5:00pm on grass fields behind tennis courts. Bring water, running shoes & your cleats. Wear T-shirt and shorts.
- Reminder: Students wanting to play sports, including conditioning, tryouts and practicing, must be cleared through Sports Net before you can start! Physical Forms are available in the front office.
Fall Sport Highlights
- Cross Country - Competed in their first CVC Meet and had some great performances:
- Varsity Boys - Finished 4th with Calvin Fear finishing 6th overall
- Varsity Girls - Finished 1st with Zoe Corder having an amazing season finishing #1 overall
- F/S Boys - Finished 2nd with Connor Hooper finishing 1st overall
- F/S Girls - Finished 3rd with Ruby Rogers finishing 4th overall
- Field Hockey JV won in a 2-1 shootout vs Davis JV Record 3-3; Varsity lost a close one in overtime in the final minute 1-0 Varsity Record 4-2.
- Flag Football competed against tough league opponents and ended with two losses for both JV and Varsity. JV Record 0-6-1, League 0-5; Varsity Record 6-5, League 2-3.
- Football had their first conference opponent vs Ponderosa.
- Varsity lost another close one 28-13 Record 0-5
- JV lost 44-8; Record 3-2
- Freshmen lost 23-0; Record 0-4-1
- Girls Golf had their first League Tournament and although they did not fair well as a team, Annie Hong played well with a 75. They lost two league matches to Woodcreek and Vista del Lago; League Record 2-3
- Girls Tennis lost to two strong opponents in Christian Brothers and Woodcreek.
- Girls Volleyball lost two matches to Christian Brothers and Woodcreek. Frosh Record 1-7, League 0-4; JV Record 0-8, League 0-4; Varsity Record 4-9, League 0-5.
- Water Polo lost to Rio Americano but the Varsity girls came back with a big win vs CK McClatchy and a winning goal scored by Goalie: Bailey Tosti.
- Varsity Boys Record 3-7; League 1-2
- Varsity Girls Record 3-7; League 0-3
- JV Boys Record 2-6; League 1-2

- Attention AP Students: Students interested in taking AP Exams in May must sign up No Later than Wednesday, November 6 at 11:59pm. All exam registrations must be completed through Total Registration, cost is $105 per exam. If you have any financial concerns, please email Mrs. Sowa.
- Attention Juniors & Seniors! Are you interested in taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test? Testing will be Thursday, November 14 from 11:00am - 2:00pm in the BV Library. Please sign up in the College & Career Center for a pass to attend.
- The College & Career Center has an updated list of College & University Representatives visiting BV. Stop by the CCC to sign up for these presentations. Students must sign up at least 24 hours in advanced. No last-minute walk-ins permitted.
- Student/Parent Volunteers are needed for BV's upcoming Arts & Craft Fair! Shifts are available on Oct. 04 and Oct. 05. See the flyer for signups at the office student bulletin board or see Mrs. Sloan in the Library.
