Addie Brooks ~ 3rd Grade
I grew up in Addison County, went to school at the University of Vermont, and am so excited to be working in this beautiful community. I have two younger sisters and a sweet puppy, Cari (pictured). When I am not at work, I coach the swim team and love to bake! I am also a huge Celtics fan and keep up with the NBA games throughout the year! Please do not hesitate to contact me! abrooks@acsdvt.org
Jackson Goscha ~ School Counselor
I am incredibly excited to be here and connect with the students and parents that make up the wonderful Shoreham community. I would love to share a little bit about myself. Prior to moving to Vermont I completed my School Counselor program At Umass Amherst in Massachusetts where I received my Masters in Education and certification as an Educational Specialist. During this time I worked in various schools as a paraprofessional and School Counselor to connect and support the Amherst community. Apart from School Counseling, I have many hobbies and special interests. Some of my favorite hobbies are skiing during the winter and horseback riding in the summer. I also love playing soccer when time allows. In my free time I love to explore new places and spend time with my partner and pets! I am so excited to start this new school year as part of the Shoreham educator team!
Hilary Collier ~ Academic Interventionist
I am excited to be joining the Shoreham community as an Academic Interventionist. I have spent the last 2 years in the RNESU district providing intervention to students at Neshobe Elementary School in Brandon, where I live with my two daughters. Prior to moving to Vermont in 2017, I lived in Boston, where I received my Masters in Special Education and worked with students with language-based learning differences. I have had opportunities during my journey as an educator to teach English at an orphanage in Uganda, work in inner city programs in Harlem, and experience teaching in the private, independent and public sectors, working with students from Kindergarten through ninth grade. Having such a varied teaching background has provided me with a wealth of perspective on student experiences, and illustrated the importance of meeting students where they are, and understanding them on a holistic level. When students' needs can be met academically, socially and emotionally, they are able to not only succeed, but thrive.
When I am not busy working with students,I enjoy pursuing art and music. I can frequently be found drawing or painting, crocheting, or playing her ukulele and singing.I look forward to meeting and working with all of the wonderful students at Shoreham.
Lisa St. Germain ~ Special Educator
Hi my name is Lisa St. Germain. Although I have been an educator for many years and a special educator with ACSD for 5 years, this year I will be working with the Shoreham team - and I am so excited to be here! I have three children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. I truly enjoy working with children and seeing them thrive and learn new things. I have a background in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Restorative Practices. There are so many things I enjoy doing, but I particularly love to spend time with my children and grandchildren, read, hike, and bake.
Dani Girard ~ School Nurse
I am so excited to be joining the Shoreham Elementary School community! This is my fourth year of school nursing and I’m happy to be joining ACSD where I went to school. I love hiking, sailing, reading and being a part of the great Vermont community. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Below you will find health updates in the Nurse's Corner!
Nurse's Corner
Remember if your student has an emergency medication that needs to be at school (inhaler or epipen) or takes a daily medication at school, then the school needs a signed medical note from the students PCP to accept it and give it to your student. Medications must be in original packaging and brought in by an adult.
Please review the 2024-2025 health guidelines and let me know if you have any questions!
Updated health information can be found on the health tab on the ACSD website.

Free Breakfast and Lunch at School
We're pleased to announce that school breakfast and lunches are still free for all students!
- This means your student can receive breakfast every day and lunch without filling out an application form.
- Please note: students get one milk with each meal, but if they take milk alone (not as part of a meal) or take a second milk, they will be charged $0.60.
- We still ask families to fill out this Household Income Data Form. Filling out this form is not mandatory but it helps us qualify for over $475,000 which assists our schools with nutrition, literacy, math, science and other vital programming.
See what's for breakfast and lunch on the menu button below:
