Hillsboro Highlights - August 2024
From the Desk of Dr. Darrell Brown
Dear Hillsboro ISD Families and Staff,
I am pleased to share some significant achievements. The district received state recognition for our recent STAAR results, a testament to the efforts of our students and staff. Furthermore, we are proud to announce a Hillsboro High School student earned national recognition for their outstanding GPA and state testing performance. These accomplishments demonstrate our district's ongoing dedication to help every student reach their full potential.
In addition to our academic achievements, we are excited to announce the completion of renovations at Dr. John P. Erwin Stadium. We invite you to experience the changes firsthand on Friday, September 6th, as the Hillsboro High School Varsity Football Team competes against Troy High School.
Thank you for your continued support of Hillsboro ISD. We look forward to building upon these early successes throughout the academic year.
Sincerely,
Darrell G. Brown PH.D.
