Parent/Teacher Conferences
Thank you to all the families that were able to participate in Parent/Teacher Conferences this month. It is important to celebrate the success of our learners and strengthen the home-school connections. At this time it is also helpful to discuss ways our learners can be supported at school and at home for the remainder of the school year. Please know that if you have concerns, you can always contact your child's teacher to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.

MAKE & TAKE AN ICU BOX FOR YOUR FAMILY!
What’s an ICU BOX? Come join us to find out!
Each student must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend. For this family night, only John Marshall Students and their families may attend.
Please keep younger non-school-age children at home.
Please register online by 3/24/25.
Space is limited.
Please discuss with your child
Please take a moment to review with your child the importance of maintaining a respectful and kind environment at school. The use of inappropriate language, making fun of others through "roasting," and any form of physical aggression are strictly prohibited. We have recently received concerns from several families, and we greatly appreciate your support in reinforcing these critical rules with your child.
We also encourage you to review our Code of Conduct with your child to ensure they understand the expectations for positive behavior. By working together, we can help all students have a respectful and enjoyable experience, making every day a truly "Magical Day at John Marshall School."

Reminder about Positive Digital Interactions
We are encouraging parents/guardians to monitor their child's online/cell phone activity to ensure healthy digital habits. As part of our Positive Action Program for the school, we are hoping to promote positive peer interactions, as they build good character traits.
Online Resources available at Home
Our students have now settled into their routines at school and are familiar with the online programs they will be using this school year. Students can access these programs at home as well by logging into their Edison Classlink Account: https://launchpad.classlink.com/edison.
The Username is their Student ID number and the Password is their district issued password they use daily.
The new math program, enVisions by Savvas, has games and resources students can use at home and is available for students in all grades.
Students in Grades 2-5 can use their Reflex Math accounts to practice learning their basic math facts and start to build fraction understanding with Frax when ready.
Students in Grades 1-5 can work on their individualized assignments on their MyPath in i-Ready.
Students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade are also encouraged to visit their Reading Eggs accounts.
