January has come to an end. The days are getting longer and hopefully the weather will start to get warmer. We are doing another round of check ins next week for the students of E.J. Hayes. 5th graders will take tests on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 4th Graders will test on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 3rd graders will test on Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure your children get a good night sleep and are ready to do their best in the mornings. And, once again, thank you for choosing E.J. Hayes, where relationships foster learning!

• June 9 - Last day of school (students will be released at 12:45pm)

We have the computers and hotspots from the Emergency Connectivity Fund. We will be passing these devices and hotspots out to parents on whenever we come back to school next week. The best times to get a computer are between 8:30 and 10:30 in the mornings or after 3:15pm in the afternoons. Please check with your teachers if you have any questions.

The cafeteria will now offer two main entree dishes each day. Students will choose which main dish that they would like in the mornings during announcements.

Revisions to the Student Dress Code (4303) were approved during the January 25, 2022 work session of the Martin County Schools Board of Education. Please note the revisions to the policy and keep in mind all students will be expected to adhere to the updated policy.
