From Kim: To get students into the stacks and more familiar with locating titles, they were asked to choose an adult in the building to pick out a book for to read over the nice, long vacation. Once that was done, Kim checked the book out to the teacher and the books were delivered. It was a big hit, with some students choosing multiple recipients. It generated excitement with the staff as well.

We are loving how librarians and library staffers are sharing tips and tricks with each other. It takes a village. Laura Gray at GFHS created a great little "cheat sheet" to help with Half-Page Notices. I made a copy and a tiny tweak after some more feedback, and I'll continue to add to it if other questions come up. Keep the tips and tricks coming, everyone. 😀
