Erin comes to Sacred Heart having had experience with younger students, particularly in Preschool. Erin's love of children and her desire to help the youngest of our students succeed will be a true blessing to Sacred Heart! Erin will be working primarily with our Kindergarten students. Welcome Erin.

We have been truly blessed this winter with much interest from new families in our faith-filled academic program here at Sacred Heart. Current families receive priority placement but must be fully enrolled by Friday, February 21st.

PreK enrollment is capped at 14 based on our State Licensing and interest is high. We are also seeing increased interest at a number of our other grade levels as well.

Current families re-enrolling should select the RE-ENROLL tab on our website or through the desktop version of your Gradelink portal. Please choose re-enroll and not new enrollment.

The Angel Scholarship Fund

Through the Ohio Catholic Community Foundation’s Angel Scholarship, you can redirect a portion of your state tax liability to support tuition assistance for our students. This means that while you make a donation now, you can claim the amount as a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing your state taxes. It’s a wonderful way to give without the extra financial burden. Don't forget, any tax paying Ohioans can make a donation so spread the word to family and friends! For more information or questions about this program, please reach out to Mr. Jeff Flaherty at the parish office.

Here are a few reminders as we move into the inclement weather season:

• Students need to dress warmly. It is important for the students to get outside and engage in physical activity. We will be going out for recess unless the real feel temperature is below 17-20 degrees. If we do need to remain indoors, we have a rotation schedule in place to allow each grade level to get into the gym or media center.
• Doors open at 8:30. Please do not drop students off early, particularly in the extreme cold. Before care is available if needed. Contact the school office for more information on this program.
• Should the need arise to close school due to inclement weather, we will notify parents via our Gradelink text and email system. We will also post our closure on Facebook and Instagram. If you see that Wadsworth Schools are closed, Sacred Heart will also be closed.

1. Pull forward to the sign.
2. Children should exit the vehicle on the left side and never walk between vehicles.
3. If you need to help your child exit the vehicle pull into a parking spot and walk your child to the steps.
4. Only right turns onto Broad Street when exiting the lot.

For Afternoon Pick up:

1. All drivers should exit their vehicle and come to the steps to pick up their child.
2. Traffic will be dismissed once all drivers and students are in their vehicles.
3. Children should not be left unattended on the playground.
