September 18, 2024 - NEWSLETTER
Dear Northpoint Families,
It’s hard to believe we are already three weeks into the school year. Routines are set, daily schedules are rolling and there are lots of smiles all around the school. The students have been coming into school each day with big smiles on their faces, and it’s fun to see that joy continue throughout the day. Often, when I am in the classroom, lunchroom or hallways, I will informally check in with students to see how the school day/year is going and use that information to guide our next steps as a building.
Similar to my informal check-in’s with students, we will be reaching out again this year to take an occasional pulse check on our families’ current experience with our school. You can expect a text/email every once in a while from Possip – the organization we’re partnering with to conduct our pulse checks. Each round, there will be a couple of quick questions. You can choose to share your name or remain anonymous. Sharing your name does help us follow up if needed. We’ll be kicking off pulse checks next week, on Thursday, September 26.
Fall conferences are right around the corner. Please mark your calendar for October 15, 4:30-7:30 p.m. and October 16, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. when you will be able to connect with our teachers. Information will come out in the next week about how to schedule these conversations. We look forward to connecting throughout the year.
