These two boys persevered to figure out how to make their Dash follow step by step directions. They also figured out how to record their voices after it catapulted the objects! This was a great example of Grit!

Dear West Wing Parents,

We have had an amazing week of learning! In Ms. Beaudoin's class learned all about using block coding in order to make their Dash Robot catapult three small objects!

If you haven't heard yet, we have a new Technology teacher! Mrs. Carolyn Nebel joined the West Wing Staff permanetly in January and is now one of our special area teachers! We are so very excited to have her rejoining our team! Mrs. Nebel served as a 1st grade teacher for 17 years! She has a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology and is doing an amazing job with our students in her new role!

Please be sure to bring your ID into the office when you check-in. All volunteers and visitors are scanned in and a sticker is printed for you to wear while on campus. Please stop in the office to scan your badge when you depart campus. Thank you for your cooperation with this.

Staff vs. Students Volleyball Game

Come watch our 7th and 8th Graders play against our WW Staff on Monday, February 12th at 4:30. Tickets are $5 for all students and parents. You can purchase your tickets and prepay for concessions online starting February 1st.

Our students are enjoying the new self-serve bar. Students can select fresh fruits and vegetables as well as Tajin and Jicama! We are loving these healthy choices!

Classroom Expectations

For the next month, our campus will focus on respecting each other's physical, emotional, and social boundaries. We are talking each day about respecting personal space, aplogizing when we make a mistake, and accepting apologies so that we can all learn from the situations we encounter in life.
