June 15 is a big deadline in the 4-H world! 4-H Enrollment deadline to participate in the fair (this is a State deadline), animal ID sheets, and YQCA certificates are all due! Here is a link to the animal ID sheets:https://extension.unl.edu/statewide/cass/cass-county-fair/ If you plan to participate in State Fair your DNA envelopes and nominations are also due June 15! ID sheets and YQCA certificates can be emailed to Tammy @tcavanaugh2@unl.edu

If you plan to show livestock (Beef, Swine, Dairy, Sheep, Goats, Poultry or Rabbits) at the fair, you are REQUIRED to complete the YQCA training. Please email Tammy @tcavanaugh2@unl.edu for a code to complete the training at no cost.

YOU MUST RE-ENROLL EVERY YEAR!

By completing the 4-H member enrollment by the June 15th deadline, youth can participate and exhibit in any project area, contest, county, and state fairs.

The Nebraska 4-H Volunteer Orientation serves as an introduction to the 4-H Youth Development program in Nebraska. As part of the screening process, the orientation covers a variety of foundational and essential topics. Any interested individuals including current or prospective volunteers, are welcome to complete the orientation. However, all new volunteers serving in direct roles, such as club leader, project leader, or workshop presenter, are required to complete the orientation. Volunteers are also required to complete the orientation as part of the re-screening process.
