We will spend a little time looking at how animations are made and the history of animation. Students will be supplied with everything they need to make an animated toy.

This month, we will delve into the art of stop motion and time lapse as we look at how the animators at Wallace and Grommit used claymation to create their movies. If time allows, students will use a few basic supplies to create their own brief stop motion films.

This month we will explore how green screens impact the art of animation and we will practice using the green screen to make a short movie.

Student Gallery! This is your chance to share anything you have created at home. Just upload it to google drive and share it with me and I can play it on my tv for the rest of the class to enjoy. I will also share a few of my favorite animated video clips.
