PICTURE DAY!
Students will be taking both class and individual pictures on Tuesday, March 5th.
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the big event:
When: March 4 - March 8
Where: WES Library
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.

Proper Shoes for P.E.
We've had an uptick of injuries during P.E. due to improper footwear in the gym. Please don't allow your child to wear Crocs, slides, Heelys, any shoes with heels (boots/dress shoes), etc. to school on P.E. days. After Spring Break if students are wearing improper shoes, they will not be allowed to participate in P.E.
Phone & Smartwatch Reminders
- Cell phones and smartwatches may be used outside of the building before school starts.
- Cell phones and smartwatches MAY NOT be used at any time while in the building unless an adult has specifically said it is ok.
- Cell phones and smartwatches should be turned OFF and placed in the child's backpack once they enter the building. These devices should remain off until they leave school at the end of the day.
If your child chooses to use a cell phone or smartwatch while in the building without permission, the following will occur:
- 1st time the device is confiscated by a staff member, an adult from the student's Skyward account will have to come pick it up in the front office.
- Every additional time that the device is confiscated by a staff member, an adult from the student's Skyward account will have to come pick it up in the front office and pay $15.
