Special delivery! Students nominated for ABC award get certificates
Two times each school year, students are nominated for the A+B=C Award. The A, B and C in the award stands for Attitude, Basic Values and Character. While only up to three students from each building at Hahn Intermediate, Davison Middle School, Davison High School and Davison Alternative Education are selected as winners, it is truly an honor to even be nominated for the award. Central Principal gets duct-taped to wall after students surpass fundraiser goal
Central Elementary Principal Mrs. Melissa Williams found herself in a sticky situation after students surpassed the spring fundraiser goal of $10,000.
On Monday, Mrs. Williams made good on her promise to students that she would allow herself to be duct-taped to a wall if they met the goal. They did and then some, raising just more than $12,000.
On Monday, PTO board members Katie Dodds, President, Jenni Leask, Vice President, Annelies Kinzie, Treasurer and Sara Duncan, Secretary, began the process of taping Mrs. Williams to the wall as students entered the building. Once they were done with the taping, all classes came down to walk by and see their principal.
As the PTO members were taping Mrs. Williams, student Zev Makled said to his principal, "You look like a person that's ready to quit their job!"

Happy Summer for our Bus Drivers!
Thank you to our awesome bus drivers for the tremendous job they do every day to get our kids back and forth to school safely. Oftentimes our drivers are the first and last school staff members our students interact with each weekday and it is a responsibility they do not take lightly! We appreciate all of our drivers, monitors and transportation staff. Below is a picture of some of our drivers on the last day of school.

2020 Bond Update
This Week's Update ...
Take a look at the new instrumental music area that is housed in the new Performing Arts Center. Our student musicians will have plenty of space in this classroom! There is also a temperature/humidity controlled room for the storage of band and orchestra instruments and lockers outside the classroom are constructed especially to house students' musical instruments.
A special thanks goes to the Davison Band and Orchestra Boosters for spending last Saturday cleaning out and moving items from the old band room.
