Welcome Back Panthers!
Superintendent Message
Summer is a busy time for a school district. While students are at home for a few months, many staff members continue working hard to get ready for the new school year. Principals and counselors are busy creating schedules, office staff handle budgets and ordering, and our custodial and maintenance staff work on getting the buildings and grounds ready to open for the new year. The pace may be a little different then during the school year, but the end goal is always the same, creating the best environment for our students!
This year, as always, I am excited to see summer wind down and students back in the halls of our two great buildings. Over the last week, we have seen parents and students working on schedules, attending orientation nights for both kindergarten and seventh grade, and participating in the start of fall athletics. It is always an enjoyable time getting to talk with parents and students and seeing how much they change and grow over the short summer.
School starts in less than a week for students, August 22! We look forward to seeing everyone back and are excited for another great year.
As we start the 2024-2025 school year you may notice some changes around the district. A few notable changes have been included in this newsletter.

The deputy will be present daily providing security while working with staff and students to help cultivate positive relationships with our local law enforcement.
Transportation
Due to some last minute changes in driver availability we have had to revise many of our traditional bus routes. Over the next few days, drivers will be reaching out to families to let them know an approximate time for pick-up.
Parents are reminded to ensure that students are at their designated stop ready to go when the bus or van arrives. The drivers are unable to wait if students are not at the stop ready to go.
Reminder, any bus notes need to be approved by the school administration prior to a student getting on a different bus.

Fall sports are in full swing. Practices have begun for both junior and senior high volleyball, soccer, and cross country. If you missed sign-ups or are still interested in joining a team, please reach out to the High School Office.
