Dear Hopkins scholars, families, and staff,

Welcome to the first issue of the Hopkins High School Student Council newsletter! You will find the latest information from the Student Council in this newsletter. We are so excited for the start of a new school year and can't wait to see everyone! We have lots of fun planned for September! Keep reading along to find out more. 🙂

Join us at the HHS football field on Friday, September 6th from 6:30-8:30 AM for an eventful morning! We will have donuts, drinks, and music. Only Hopkins seniors will be allowed entry. Bring blankets and enjoy the sunrise!

We are partnering with the Youth Voter Project to organize a voter pre-registration event before the upcoming election. Stop by the commons during lunches on Tuesday, September 17th to become a future voter! Scholars will also have an opportunity to register to vote during this day.

Spirit Day: Pajama Day

Wear your favorite pajamas for the first spirit day of the week!

Movie on the Field

7:45-9:30 PM on the HHS football field. Come for food trucks and a good time! Tickets are $7 and will be sold in person during lunches starting two weeks before the event. Online tickets will be available soon on Vanco.

Activities Fair

Stop by the commons during all lunches to learn more about all the clubs offered at HHS. Take this opportunity to join a school community!

Powderpuff

Join us at 7 PM at the HHS football field for the annual powderpuff game between juniors and seniors.

Pepfest

The homecoming pepfest will occur during Royals Connect from 9:57-10:57 AM. Get excited for the annual boy-girl dance, fall captains games, and more!

Saturday, 9/28

Homecoming Dance

We can't wait for the homecoming dance! The dance will be in the HHS mall from 8-10:30 PM. Tickets are $15 and will be sold in person during lunches two weeks before the dance. Online tickets will be available on Vanco soon.
