Family Engagement

C.B. Watson Primary is a Title I School. We are eligible for Title I funding based on our percentage of students eligible for free and reduced lunch. This means we receive additional federal funds for the purpose of improving teaching and learning for students. All students in our school benefit from these funds.

Infinite Campus

The 2024-2025 Student Handbooks are available to read online at https://www.hcbe.net/districtstudenthandbooks. All Pre-K through 12th grade parents must complete the required handbook forms online through Infinite Campus beginning Thursday, July 25 at Noon.

School Supply Lists

Transportation

Bus stops are assigned by the nearest practical route. Stops are designated by the Transportation Department and are placed at specific locations based on distance to the next stop and safety of the location for pickup and drop-off. Normally, stops are placed at least one-tenth of a mile apart and at intersections.

The Old Farmer's Almanac for Kids

Born in 1815, Ada Lovelace was encouraged by her mother to study math at a young age. At 17, she explained how to create numerical codes that included repeating instructions-but her work was not discovered until the 1950s! Today, she is considered the first computer programmer, and the computer language "Ada" is named after her.
